About Tracktiq

I built Tracktiq because I wanted a time-tracking app that respects my focus, my data, and my work.

Most tools I tried were either overloaded with features, required accounts, or tried to be smarter than necessary. Tracktiq takes a different path: it’s a fast, native Mac app that does one thing well and stays out of your way.

Built for daily work

Tracktiq is made for freelancers and independent professionals who track time every day. If you work with multiple clients or projects and want a clear, reliable overview of where your time goes, Tracktiq gives you exactly that, without forcing you into complex workflows.

It’s practical, predictable, and designed to feel natural on macOS.

Calm, deliberate software

Tracktiq is intentionally simple and opinionated:

  • No accounts
  • No AI features
  • No ads

The app doesn’t upload your data to any servers. Your data stays on your device. The only exception is optional iCloud sync, which exists solely to keep your data in sync across your own devices.

Nothing is shared with third parties. Ever.

Your data, fully under your control

You remain in full control of your data at all times. Tracktiq doesn’t analyze it, monetize it, or use it to train anything. It’s your work, your time, and your information, and it stays that way.

Designed to last

Tracktiq has been in active use for over a decade. It’s not built around trends, growth hacks, or short-term goals, but around longevity and trust.

I add features carefully, based on real needs and long-term maintainability. The goal is software that still feels solid years from now.

An independent project

Tracktiq is an independent app, designed and developed by a solo developer. There’s no venture capital, no pressure to scale, and no incentive to compromise on principles.

Just a commitment to building a tool I’m proud to use every day, and that you can rely on too.
