Tracktiq is made in Firenze, Italy, and the way we handle data meets Italian legal requirements. Tracktiq is made by Martin Höller, Via Filippo Pacini 37, 50144 Firenze, Italy.
1. How we process your personal data
All data you enter into Tracktiq is stored only on the device you are using and is only used by the Tracktiq app itself. Your data is never transmitted to our servers or to servers of third parties.
1.1 To provide our services and understand your needs
When you use the Tracktiq app or visit our website, we collect, store, and use some personal and non-personal data and transmit it to some third-party services. We do this to understand your needs and your use of our products, to analyze bugs and fix issues, and to bring you more useful features. We process this data to provide you the best and most reliable experience of our services.
We do not process personal data that directly identifies you as a person (such as your first name, surname, email).
We collect:
- Device data: Information about the device you are using Tracktiq on (model, name and identifiers, device settings, application identifier, crash information). On our website we collect browser details, browser settings, operating system, and system settings.
- Event and usage data: Which pages you visit or which features are used in the app or on the website (aggregate form to see which features matter most).
- IP address: Provided by your browser or computer to deliver the service to your device and to determine approximate location for statistics/analytics.
All data collected is necessary to deliver the services you use, and the amount is minimized wherever possible. By using Tracktiq you agree to this collection and processing. If you disagree, please stop using the services or uninstall the app.
2. Your rights

- We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling.
As a user you may:
- Request information on your personal data processed by us (provided electronically on request).
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting the Tracktiq app from your computer.
- Request complete deletion of your data, including past data sent to third-party services, by emailing support@bluebanana-software.com (deleted within 30 days).
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervising authority if you believe we are processing your personal data in violation of applicable regulations.
3. Data security
We apply security measures to protect against misuse, loss, and/or alteration of personal information under our control and follow industry best practices when transferring and storing data. While we cannot guarantee misuse or loss will never occur, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it.
Protect your device:
- Activate passcode or Touch ID authentication on your device. This encrypts your data and prevents use without permission.
Protect your data:
- All of your data is stored solely on your device and we do not have access to it. If you delete this data or lose your device, your Tracktiq data will also be lost. Back up your Tracktiq data regularly.
- On macOS, use Apple’s Time Machine backup solution (see Apple’s support pages for instructions).
4. Data transfer outside the EU and to third-party applications
Any personal data collected from you may only be transferred to countries outside the European Union / European Economic Area observing applicable privacy regulations and ensuring that your privacy rights remain protected.
5. Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use cookies. The Tracktiq app and our website do not use any third-party analysis or tracking services.
6. Young users
Tracktiq does not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under the age of 13. If we learn information was collected from children under 13 in contradiction with applicable laws (e.g., COPPA), we will not disclose this data and reserve the right to wipe all related information. If you are in the EU, you can only use our services if you are over the relevant age of consent in your country or have consent from a parent or legal guardian. 7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, data collection/use practices, service features, or technology. Check this page periodically for changes. If a change is material, we will post notice of it in this Privacy Policy.
